NYPA Pays Greenway One Million Dollars

At a news conference on Wednesday, January 20th, NYPA Chairman Richard Kessel handed a symbolic check for one million dollars to RIVERKEEPER’s Margaret Wooster in her role as a member of the Greenway Ecological Standing Committee, to fund ecological projects in the Greenway. The money was committed as part of the settlement for relicensing the Robert Moses Power Project.
