Border Cross 2.0

by admin on May 4, 2010

Join us every Thursday in May for the return of the Blue Light Border Cross Concert Series, benefiting Riverkeeper! Your support is greatly appreciated.

The Labatt Blue Light Border Cross concert series is returning this month with an eclectic lineup across four Thursday shows. Blue Light Border Cross celebrates the bond between our two countries and the waters we share, while continuing Buffalo’s great legacy as a gateway city for Canadian artists into the American music scene, and supporting the work of Buffalo Niagara RIVERKEEPER.

On May 20th, Nietzsche’s welcomes a trio of up-and-comers led by Toronto rock ‘n’ roll soul trio Melting Pot, supported by big winners at the 2010 Artvoice Best of Buffalo Awards Free Henry!  and their hand-picked closer and fellow local guitar-duelers Aqueous. The May 27th finale, back at the Sportsmens Tavern, matches the fiery veteran Toronto trio the Royal Crowns with the “Rockabilly Filly” from Austin, Texas, Rosie Flores. Each night will feature a raffle benefitting Riverkeeper.  See you there!
