Boat Dance
On June 12, 2009, Buffalo Niagara RIVERKEEPER helped put together a first-of-its-kind ‘dance’ of human-powered watercraft in the Buffalo River in celebration of the Boundary Waters Treaty Week.
Route 5 Southtowns Connector
In 2008, NYS DOT began construction of a waterfront highway that would restrict access, take up an unnecessary 77 acres of prime waterfront land, and limit development of Buffalo’s Outer Harbor. Learn more about it here:

RIVERKEEPER Installs a Rain Garden at the Crane Branch Library
In May 2009, in cooperation with the Buffalo and Erie County Public Libraries, the Vogt Family Foundation, and Premium Services, a landscaping firm, a rain garden was planted at the Crane Branch Library on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo.
