Niagara Habitat Conservation Strategy

Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper is undertaking the development of a habitat conservation strategy for the Niagara River Watershed. The geographic scope of this two-year project is the tributary area of the Niagara River within Western New York – an area of about 900,000 acres.  Please click here for more information about this project.

Buffalo and Niagara Rivers Habitat Assessment and Conservation Framework

In 2007, Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper received a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to develop a community-based framework for habitat restoration in the Buffalo and Niagara River Areas of Concern and tributary areas.  Please click here for more information about this project.
